Bobbie Jo Rush

Bobbie Jo Rush, 48, of Everett, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 01, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center after a battle with diabetes.  She was born February 08, 1978 in Winchester, Virginia; a daughter of William Church and Bette (Brumm) McDavid.  On April 01, 2002 in Everett, PA she was united in marriage to Daniel W. Rush, Jr.  

Along with her husband, she is survived by her children Gracie Danielle Rush and Matthew Christopher Rush; sister Cathy Jo Rush married to Willy Rush; nieces and nephew, Payden, William, Dana and significant other Landon and Amber married to Cole; great nieces and nephews Carson, Harper, Addison, and Landon, Jr.

She was preceded in death by a sister Billie (Brumm) Ramsey.

She was a member of the Everett Seventh Day Adventist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, crafting and feeding the humming birds and most importantly being a mom.  

Friends and family will be received at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537 on Monday, March 09, 2026 from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 09, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Akers Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Ball officiating.
